Canadian Solar (NASDAQ: CSIQ) is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of photovoltaic solar panels. It was founded in 2001 in Canada. In 2019, the company was already in the TOP 5 largest solar PV panel manufacturers in the world, for large-scale residential and industrial solar self-consumption and Utility installations.

Canadian Solar is vertically integrated for the manufacture of ingots, wafers, solar cells, solar panels, photovoltaic systems and related solar products. In other words, the company takes the solar panel manufacturing process from raw material to final product. Thus guaranteeing an integrated quality control that includes the entire manufacturing process of its solar modules.

The multinational announced the pursuit of a world efficiency record for silicon solar cells, reaching 23.81% conversion efficiency. The record was certified by the Institute für Solarenergieforschung GmbH (ISFH) of Germany.

Canadian Solar’s solar panels comprise polycrystalline cell panels, monocrystalline cells and high efficiency PERC (Passivated Emitter and Rear Contact) cells as well as Half Cell Photovoltaic and Heterojunction (HJT) panels. KuMax and KuPower Series solar panels, HiKu HiKuPro HiKu5 HiKu6 HiKu7 HiHero up to 670w and BiKu and BiHiKu bifacial solar panels together with HDMI and HJT and TopCon high efficiency panels.

Finally, Canadian Solar has product warranties of up to 25 years product and 25 years performance warranty.
