OUR ORIGINS
It all started with an opportunity at a difficult time
In 2009, amid an economic and photovoltaic crisis, the industry was facing a period of great uncertainty. Solar material had become stranded in Spain, while the domestic market could no longer absorb it.
Juan Carlos Vico identified an opportunity: finding new destinations and connecting that material with professionals who needed it. This marked the beginning of Vico’s journey, step by step and with a clear international outlook.
In 2010, Vico Importaciones Exportaciones, S.L.U. was formally incorporated, the company under which Vico Export Solar Energy operates.
More than fifteen years later, that way of understanding the market remains part of our identity: listening, selecting, responding and staying close to the people who make every solar project possible.
