Technical Training Session with Sungrow:
Certified Installers and Cutting-Edge Solutions
On June 11th, we had the opportunity to attend an exclusive technical training session with Sungrow at their training center in Pamplona. During this event, participants became certified Sungrow installers and explored key aspects of both residential and C&I product ranges.
Throughout the session, we toured their showroom and examined the full Sungrow product portfolio in detail — from single-phase and three-phase inverters to storage systems, EV chargers, and hybrid solutions. We also delved into various installation scenarios for both residential and commercial & industrial (C&I) applications, assessing the most suitable configurations for each case. Key features such as efficiency, compatibility, ease of commissioning, and adaptability to zero-export or backup systems were highlighted.

Real Scenarios, Practical Solutions
Throughout the day, various residential configurations were presented, such as:
- Installation of SHRS and SHRT-20 hybrid inverters in parallel.
- Integration of SBR batteries and EV chargers (AC007/AC011) with load balancing.
- Retrofit scenarios with grid-tied inverters combined with storage.
In the C&I segment, solutions with SG50CX-P2 and SG125CX-P2 inverters were explored, highlighting zero-export options using Logger1000A-EU or COM100D.
Special Configurations and Commissioning
One of the most relevant blocks of the session focused on reviewing special configurations via the iSolarCloud platform, with emphasis on:
- Activation of export limit and related certification.
- Master/slave modes for installations with multiple hybrid inverters.
- AC coupling with third-party inverters.
- Advanced solutions for C&I installations using Power Stack and EMS.
In addition, several commissioning methods (local, remote, and assisted) were practiced, along with best practices for mechanical installation, electrical wiring, and communication setup.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Anticipating Issues
The final segment focused on diagnostics and preventive maintenance, offering practical recommendations on:
- Detection and analysis of string, insulation, and communication failures.
- Identification of common alarms: BMS, arc fault, meter/inverter connection errors, among others.
- Advanced ticket management through the GSP platform and field intervention protocols.
We thank Sungrow Iberia for their dedication and all attending installers for their participation.
