All of Sungrow’s Innovations for 2025: Energy, Storage, and E-Mobility

On April 2nd, we held the Sungrow 2025 Experience Day Madrid, a day-long event where the world-leading manufacturer showcased all the technological innovations that will shape its roadmap for this year. With over 740 GW installed worldwide, presence in more than 180 countries, and a strong focus on R&D, Sungrow reaffirms its commitment to delivering innovative, efficient, and sustainable solutions.

PowerStack ST200CS: All-in-One Industrial Storage

One of the event’s main highlights was the PowerStack ST200CS, Sungrow’s new C&I (Commercial & Industrial) storage solution. This 229 kWh battery with 110 kW nominal power stands out for its compact design, high scalability (up to 25 units in parallel), and advanced liquid cooling that improves performance and extends its lifespan beyond 20 years.

Key features include:

  • High-performance LFP cell
  • Integrated fire protection system
  • Outdoor installation (IP55/IP65/C5)
  • Multiple configuration modes (self-consumption, energy arbitrage, peak shaving, etc.)

Moreover, its compatibility with EMS systems like iSolarCloud, EMS300CP, or third-party platforms via Modbus enables smart and customized energy management.

IDC480E: The Most Advanced Ultra-Fast Charger on the Market

In the realm of e-mobility, Sungrow introduced its range of EV chargers, highlighting the IDC480E, capable of delivering up to 480 kW of charging power. This unit can charge 400 km in just 20 minutes, features isolated air cooling (no cotton filters), and integrates multiple payment methods (RFID, AutoCharge, cards, app…).

With IP65 protection and a quiet design (<60 dB), it’s ideal for installation in shopping centers, public areas, or logistics environments, ensuring minimal maintenance and maximum reliability.

iHomeManager and More: The Sungrow Ecosystem for 2025

In addition to the new microinverters, Sungrow presented a suite of products that complete its smart energy ecosystem, designed to maximize efficiency, ease of management, and adaptability to all types of installations.

iHomeManager is Sungrow’s new residential energy management system. It connects wirelessly (WiFi) or via RS485 with inverters and EV chargers, and stands out for its solar production forecasting and user consumption learning features.

Thanks to its AI-powered algorithm, it enables:

  • Predictive battery charging, anticipating high-consumption or low-generation periods
  • Load prioritization (e.g., heat pumps or EV chargers) to optimize self-consumption
  • Seamless integration into retrofit installations, with support for 2 current transformers (CTs)

In short, iHomeManager provides total control, energy efficiency, and convenience for the end user through an intuitive interface.
